denotation :They are showing a little kid in a water advert which appears to be in a developing country. connotation :This water aid advert is show casing a little kid which could not have access to clean water. This advert also has its own slogan in a big white text which is 'dig toilets not graves'. This slogan is an integrated campaign by water aid to recruit new supported. This campaign highlights poor sanitation in the developing world. They have shown as a kid as he can be more helpless compared to an adult. Analysis : The advert has tried to show the audience how bad this can be as a lot more people than they think so they can help and take action by donating to water aid so they can try their best to provide for people so they can drink clean water and not suffer.
