Which part of Media are you looking forward to the most?

1)

In media,I am looking forward to debates and discussions


2) What device do you use most to access the media? (The media = news, TV, music, film, social media etc.)  


The device i use is an iphone


3) What is your average 'screen time' (or equivalent) on your phone each day. Is this about right, too little or too much? Why?

 

Mine is 4 hours as i go out everyday which is still bad to be using a phone for 4 hours of my time at home


4) What was the last TV programme or film you watched?


I rewatched snowfall


5) What device or subscription do you use to listen to music?


I listen to spotify in my airpods everywhere i go


6) Do you play videogames? If so, what do you play games on and what is your favourite game?


Call of duty, fortnite,fifa and gta are the games i play


7) Are you on social media? If so, what social media do you have and why do you like it? 


I have all social media and i like it so i know what happens in life and things


8) Finally, do you think the media is a positive or negative thing for young people? Why?


I think it is Negative because it can make people insecure about someone elses looks even though most people are catfishes

  denotation :They are showing a little kid in a water advert which appears to be in a developing country. connotation :This water aid advert is show casing a little kid which could not have access to clean water. This advert also has its own slogan in a big white text which is 'dig toilets not graves'. This slogan is an integrated campaign by water aid to recruit new supported. This campaign highlights poor sanitation in the developing world. They have shown as a kid as he can be more helpless compared to an adult. Analysis : The advert has tried to show the audience how bad this can be as a lot more people than they think so they can help and take action by donating to water aid so they can try their best to provide for people so they can drink clean water and not suffer.

  The media language in this poster includes gloomy and dark colours as well as red to represent blood in the image. The blood smile on the protagonist can represent the antagonist for a teaser. There is a lot of slogans around the potential protagonist which could be sayings of the antagonist himself. This is a superhero movie which could attract viewers who like watching action movies and all sorts. This is most likely to have teenagers to be more hooked on this type of movie. This movie is more aimed for males to watch. From what I can see in this poster is that this movie is aimed to look serious as the protagonist looks very mad which can lead to a brutal fight scene if not someone could potentially die. The movie is named 'THE DARK KNIGHT' to make the main character more menacing and scary. The background is completely filled with joker cards for another hint of who the foe can be.
